Hello Everyone from the crew at  ‘WyndyMilla’,

You may have noticed that the ‘WyndyMilla’ machine has been uncharacteristically silent for the last few weeks. Don’t worry though, whilst most of Britain has been on the annual mass exodus to the sun, ‘WyndyMilla’ has quietly been putting its infrastructure in place. . . The Result? With renewed vigor, we can now deliver a great WM Club, WM Cycle Fitting, WM training & great value WM custom bikes & kit.

So what’s new!?

* ‘WyndyMilla’ at the 2009 London Triathlon Expo:

Yes, WM was turning heads exhibiting on the Maximuscle stand at this years tri show.

Our custom bling turned out to be quite a talking point, especially our female version of the ‘Lightning Seed’ in WM pink. It has helped put WM firmly on the triathlon radar, attracting many new fellow bike enthusiasts to the WM family.

* L’Etape du Tour in the New ‘WyndyMilla’ van.

Well done to everyone flying the WM flag at this years Etape. We headed down to support & ride in the new logo’d up WM van.

A great trip was had by all, even though the loo in the Winnebago took such a beating it got blocked. One member was forced to ride with passengers, (not recommended!). All I can say is that nobody bigged up the Ventoux enough, it was a pig!

* WyndyMilla Cycle Fitting Studio & nerve center:

Our long awaited WM Cycle Fitting Studio was finally finished on Monday this week. With quite a solid hit of bookings taken at the tri expo it’s been just in time! * WyndyMilla E-Shop:

Finally our shop is up at http://www.wyndymilla.com/eshop/ whilst the shop is in its test phase, it is only 2008 sale items. There are some good bargains on what is left of the 2008 kit, so happy shopping. The new look 2009 items will be added shortly. Again, contact us in the meantime if you would like 2009 kit.

Hi Everyone,

Well I’m looking out the window and it’s raining - the perfect time to write a blog!

First things first, it’s great to see so many of you signing up to the Egroup, (WyndyMilla’s noticeboard). From June 1st it will be the sole form of WyndyMilla Club communication, so please jump on board. It takes 5 minutes and then you are able to arrange rides, social events, trips or get training advice with all other WyndyMillites at the touch of a button.

*Going UnderGround: Look out for WyndyMilla in a tube ad over the next few weeks. I’ll be stood next to Shane Williams,  in the latest Maximuscle campaign. He’s slightly out of my sporting league as captain of The British Lions. . I guess that is why HSBC stays on his shirt, & WyndyMilla is airbrushed from mine in the final ad- boo!!

* Snowed In: We had a great WyndyMilla May bank holiday trip to the Pyreness - 3 days 300miles. As you will see my ‘Big Geranium’ got stuck in the snow as we tried in vain to climb above 2000m!

* Country Cottage: Nasima, Dalilah, the chickens & I are moving house at the weekend. Exciting times, not least because we will have a new WyndyMilla nerve center. It will be the WyndyMilla office/gym/bike fitting & test centre. Set at the end of a bumpy track in the middle of the Surrey countryside, we look forward to lots of visits to our go-faster one stop shop. The coffee pot & celery cake will be at the ready - all welcome

* WyndyMilla 2009 kit is due to arrive in the next week or so, will keep you closely posted, it will be available on our web shop, also up in a week or so. I will fire out a link as soon as. . .

Lastly, we had a great club ride out into the Surrey hills on Sunday. We certainly turned a few heads as the WyndyMilla posse of guys & girls rolled out in a wide spectrum of WyndyMilla kit ‘n’ colours and a couple of very very shiny matching bikes. The main focus of ‘WyndyMilla’ is to provide a fun and vibrant environment in which to ride your bike -  it may sound a touch naff, but I like to think of it as the ‘WyndyMilla’ familiy. In plain terms I guess we are just hoping that you will join us on board the most exciting new place to get the most from your bike. . . . .  The ‘WyndyMilla’ club.

There is a ‘WyndyMilla’ ride leaving from The Cafe, Roehampton Gate, Richmond Park at 9am every Sunday, (email Henry for details). We also plan to forge links with other clubs to offer a variety of ride options catering for all levels of ability, guys & girls, rookies & seasoned pro’s - so don’t be scared!

Exciting times, finally WyndyMilla is blogging. It has already been a year in the making, but I have now made the bold move easing off the Personal Training throttle at The Firm to apply myself part time to the wild & wacky world of WyndyMilla.

So what’s new!?

Well first of all I have the time now to get the WyndyMilla website properly on its feet.  I’ll keep you posted, but look out for our webshop opening soon. We will be having a 2008 kit sale, shortly followed by our all new 2009 kit range. We will also be starting an E-Group so that members of the WyndyMilla familiy can chat; arrange rides, trips, social events and generally share their passion for everything bike. We hope you’ll jump on board!

WyndyMilla Bikes

The most exciting addition to WyndyMilla 2009, yes, we’re building our own bikes. At this years London Cycle Show, John Mullineaux of London Cycle Sport kindly pointed me in the direction of Graeme Freestone King of Velotech (British Cycling’s Man Who Can!).  Graeme has helped me perfect my bike building skills & forge all the right contacts. In short, helping us at WyndyMilla provide top end bikes at great prices by cutting out the dreadful middle man. .

We have 3 models in our range, all can be customised and fitted to order, and be carefully built by myself. Top end full carbon bikes 100% European build, with the technical know how of Dedacciai behind the frames, as used by Condor, Cube & Bianchi to name but a few.

Our top spec frame is the WyndyMilla ‘Big Geranium’ pictured below.

We then have the WyndyMilla ‘Lightning Seed’which we can bring in on our best value build under the ‘Ride to Work Scheme’ threshold at £999. And lastly the WyndyMilla ‘Saw Doctor’ the ultimate time trial/triathlon bike. Lots more techy bike posts soon, in the mean time please get in touch if you’d like to talk WyndyMilla go-faster bike!

WyndyMilla Kit

All new kit for 2009.  WyndyMilla’s Elite wing is now the official test team for Charlie Cutler at Carvalho Custom . Over the past two years we have been helping Charlie improve his range of custom cycle kit. We now visit Charlie twice a year, and he implements our ideas to be tested by ‘WyndyMilla’ for one year before it goes into general production. The result! WyndyMilla has a truly unique range of cycle kit at the cutting edge of innovation. The Elite kit as modeled by myself & wife Nasima is pictured below, (Elite sponsors Maximuscle & Ben Whistler) . You will be able to get you hands on our unique retail ranges from May 09. . .
